I’m an underwater photographer inspired by the ocean and the quiet moments that exist beneath the surface.

My name is Anja Schwarzer, and my work is shaped by a conscious and respectful approach to marine life, with the belief that nature should be experienced with care rather than treated as content.

My journey into photography began with film. The slower process taught me patience, observation, and intention with every frame. That mindset continues to shape the way I approach photography today.

I’m currently based in Manly, NSW, where I’m building a life around the ocean.

Through my work, I hope to share the environments that inspire me and the moments that remind us why our oceans are worth protecting.
